The health and safety of our guests and team members are of utmost importance and our main priority.  Gun Lake Casino will continue to remain open – to accomplish this we have taken a caring and serious approach to protecting the Gun Lake Casino community by taking swift preventative action against the spread of the Coronavirus and any other communicable disease.

Gun Lake Casino is conducting extensive and rigorous deep cleaning of the entire facility. All public and administrative areas have been and will continue to be thoroughly cleansed and disinfected using advanced hospital grade procedures and solutions. In addition to the many proactive changes already implemented, Harvest Buffet has transitioned to a full-service style of dining to help reduce potential exposure pathways. All food selections in Harvest Buffet are now being served by Gun Lake Casino team members.

All updates will be posted on this page and on our Facebook page.

MARCH 12, 2020

Gun Lake Casino Community,

Protecting the health and safety of our Gun Lake Casino community, guests and team members alike, is our highest priority. Like many of you, we have spent the last few weeks learning about the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We want to share with you the proactive steps that we are taking as an organization to prevent the spread of Coronavirus and other communicable diseases at Gun Lake Casino.

Our high standards in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our community remains. We have increased the amount of these routine cleaning procedures, as we typically do during times of higher incidents of communicable diseases, such as the common cold, influenza, or other viruses. More attention to detail is being focused on high touch areas including slot machines, table games areas, chairs, counters, tabletops, doorknobs, bathroom fixtures, toilets, phones, keyboards, tablets and tables.

We have made proactive changes to cleaning and sanitizing solutions. At all entrances and key locations throughout the casino, we continue to offer hand sanitizer for our guests to use. For all surfaces, we have switched to a stronger hospital grade solution that is highly effective at cleansing surfaces. We encourage all guests and team members to adhere to thorough hand washing procedures regularly and use the hand sanitizing stations that are provided.

In addition, we have taken the following precautions:

  • Open communication with all team members about washing hands often. We are being informative, posting signage, and providing additional hand sanitizing dispensers.
  • For our guests, we are posting hand-washing signage in public areas and providing an increased number of hand sanitizer stations across the property.
  • We have proactively increased our reserves of hand sanitizer and disinfectant solution for use by our guests and team members to prepare for an extended period.
  • We are reinforcing training procedures to ensure cleaning processes are implemented properly by our team.

Gun Lake Casino team members have received instructions to help ensure the greatest level of protection against the virus. We have increased preventative care by providing all team members with the ability to receive health care services at the Tribal Health Center across from Gun Lake Casino.

We wholeheartedly believe in providing the best entertainment experience in West Michigan. This means that we are dedicated to the protection of the Gun Lake Casino community and we will continue to monitor the situation closely.

Sincerely,

Sal Semola
